Community Cinema

The Broomhall Community Cinema was set up in late 2016 by Jack de Aguilar and Nicole Kelly. With funding and support from Cinema For All, 2017 has seen a range of diverse screenings held at the Broomhall Centre. It kicked off with Benda Bilili in on January 29th, followed up with Wadjda on March 12th and Moonlight on March 21st. We have also supported the screenings of When I Saw You with the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign and Resilience with Academy SPACE. Next up for the project is a screening of KIKI on July 30th. More information can be found here.

For more information, you can contact Jack on social@broomhallcentre.com. We’re always open to new ideas on what films we show and who we show them too. We’re also keen to hear from people who’d like to get involved as volunteers.
